Terms of Service

KYLE LifeOS(the "Service") is a private, single-user personal dashboard operated by Kyle Neumeier(the "Operator"). These terms govern use of the Service. The Service is not offered or sold to the public; access is restricted to a single allowlisted account belonging to the Operator, who is also the account holder of every connected financial institution.

The Service is provided for the Operator's personal, non-commercial use. Only accounts owned by the Operator may be connected to it. Attempting to access the Service without authorization, or connecting a financial account you do not own, is prohibited.

Bank and credit-card connections are provided through Plaid Inc. ("Plaid"). By connecting an institution you authorize the Service to retrieve, on your behalf, account information and transaction history from that institution through Plaid for as long as the connection remains active. Credentials are entered directly with Plaid or the institution; the Service never receives or stores them. Plaid's handling of that information is governed by Plaid's End User Privacy Policy at plaid.com/legal.

A connection can be revoked at any time from within the Service, which removes it at Plaid and stops all further data retrieval. How retrieved data is used and stored is described in the Privacy Policy.

The Service displays and analyzes information for personal record-keeping. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or medical advice. Balances, transactions, budgets, net-worth figures, and health metrics shown in the Service may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and are not a substitute for statements from your financial institution or advice from a qualified professional. Verify anything that matters against the institution or provider of record.

The Service is a personal project maintained on a best-effort basis. It may be modified, interrupted, or discontinued at any time without notice, and depends on third-party providers (Plaid, Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic) whose availability is outside the Operator's control.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or financial opportunity, arising from use of or inability to use the Service.

Access may be suspended or terminated at any time. On termination, connected institutions can be disconnected at Plaid and stored data deleted on request to the contact below.

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
